Founded

Merlin was founded by Mike Carey with a starting budget of £200
1983
New premises acquired
Due to increasing sales Merlin moves to Winnall Trading Estate in Winchester
Merlin acquires the adjoining building with a premise of 2500 sq ft & the trade counter opens
Expansion & Trade counter opens
1987
Merlin's first Sales Director was appointed alongside Mike
Merlin doubles in size

Sales reach £1Million

10 years since our launch Merlin reach the million pound sales mark

Our storage space increases to 5800 sq ft with the expansion of our mezzanine floor
Mezzanine Expansion
We moved premises again to our larger 4,000 sq ft unit in Nickel Close on Winnall Trading Estate
